Out and Back Again

This is a blog dedicated to being out in Nature. The blog posts will cover trips I have taken and or are planning. Gear I want, and even gear I may need. Information on getting outdoors. Tips and tricks for camping and backpacking. I may link up to other sites that have interesting articles and stories. I'm sure there will be lots of pictures.

Why blog on being in the outdoors? Well most of my free time is spend outdoors. So why not blog about it. I get really excited about trips, thought it would be a good idea to share all that excitement. Plus that way I don't have to bug my wife with all my plans.
I should make it clear that even though I love the outdoors I am not tree huger. I fish and plan to start hunting this coming elk season. I do, however, believe in conserving our National Parks, and being as low impact as possible.
So if anyone out there is actually reading any of this...please enjoy.
